There are 8 tourists for the Machu Picchu day tour. There are 10 tourists for the Machu Picchu package to Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake. There are 12 tourists for the 4-day Inca Trail.

The Machu Picchu one-day tour is taken at about 2,400 meters above sea level. Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu tour is at 3,650 meters high point. Others reach up to 5,000 meters, such as Rainbow Mountain and Humantay Lake. Dead Woman's Pass is the highest point of the Inca Trail at 4,215 meters.

Treks include guide, transportation, permits, provisions, porters, and camping (for the Inca Trail). Train and other tours include round-trip transportation from Cusco, a guide, entrance fees, and all logistics, all services of Machu Picchu tours and Inca Trail treks that are well organized.

Permits are limited and should be reserved ahead of time. The Inca Trail is one of the visitor trails and should be reserved 3–4 months in advance since it only has space for 500 people per day, including the staff.
