When is the best time to do this tour package ?
The best time to do this 14-day Peru tour package is during the dry season, which runs from April to October. Here’s why:
Dry Season (April to October)
Inca Trail and Machu Picchu: The dry season offers the best weather for trekking the Inca Trail and visiting Machu Picchu. The weather is generally sunny with less rain, making the hike more comfortable and the views stunning.
Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain: The clear skies and dry conditions also make it the ideal time to explore the Sacred Valley and hike Rainbow Mountain, where weather can be unpredictable during the wet season.
Amazon Rainforest: While the Amazon is a year-round destination, the dry season (May to October) tends to have lower rainfall and more comfortable temperatures for jungle activities at Tambopata Lodge.
Wet Season (November to March)
The wet season (November to March) has heavier rains (January – March), especially in the Amazon and the Inca Trail, making trekking conditions more challenging. While the Inca Trail is still open, permits are more limited, and some trails may close due to weather. Also, some areas in the Sacred Valley and Rainbow Mountain may be muddy or inaccessible due to heavy rain.
Keep in mind that booking early is crucial, especially for Inca Trail permits, which sell out quickly for the dry season months, Check the INCA TRAIL AVAILABILITY HERE.!
