We offer a selection of trekking and camping equipment suitable for excursions to Machu Picchu and beyond.
When you join a trek with Qoricancha Expeditions, you're not just booking a hike,  you're stepping into a carefully prepared experience where comfort, safety, and sustainability are top priorities. We recognize the significance of adequate rest, proper nutrition, and a sense of security while on the trail. To that end, we have invested in top-quality trekking and camping equipment designed to meet the unique challenges of the Peruvian Andes.

From the inaugural step of the Classic Inca Trail to a secluded Andean pass on the Salkantay Trek, our equipment is immaculate, state-of-the-art, and meticulously crafted for high-altitude expeditions. We ensure that each item is thoroughly inspected prior to departure, thus guaranteeing a seamless, secure, and memorable journey to Machu Picchu for all of our valued customers.

1. Spacious and weatherproof tents are available.

The Andes are renowned for their natural beauty, but they are also known for their unpredictable weather patterns. Our 4-season expedition tents are engineered to withstand inclement weather and extreme temperatures, making them ideal for year-round use. Each tent comfortably accommodates two trekkers, providing ample space for backpacks and equipment without feeling confined. The waterproof design ensures dryness, and the ventilation system helps prevent condensation, ensuring a refreshing start to your day's hike.

2. Sleeping gear that is warm and comfortable.

Ensuring adequate rest is crucial for maintaining optimal well-being while enjoying outdoor activities. For this reason, we offer high-quality down sleeping bags that are rated for -10°C (14°F),  ensuring warmth during chilly Andean nights. Each sleeping bag is meticulously washed before every excursion to ensure optimal hygiene and comfort. We also include thick foam sleeping pads to cushion you from the ground. For those seeking added comfort, we offer the option to upgrade to inflatable mattresses or sleeping bag liners for added warmth.

3. An Inviting Dining Experience in a Mountainous Setting

Restaurants are more than just places to eat; they are also venues for social interaction, storytelling, and rejuvenation. We have set up spacious dining tents with sturdy tables and chairs so that you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a protected environment, free from wind and rain. Our mobile kitchen is fully equipped with all the essential culinary equipment, and our expert chefs, trained in trekking cuisine, prepare delicious and balanced meals using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. You may even have the opportunity to sample some traditional Andean flavors during your journey.

4. Safety and Support Equipment
