Victor Escalante, Founder
Victor was born in a small village near Chinchero, where he was immersed in Andean traditions, nature, and a strong sense of community.
Inspired by travelers to his hometown, Victor developed a passion for sharing the beauty and history of his culture. He later studied Tourism at the National University of Cusco and gained over a decade of experience with leading travel companies.
In 2022, he founded Qoricancha Expeditions with a clear mission:
to create authentic, sustainable, and community-focused travel experiences.
Victor remains actively involved, occasionally guiding tours and sharing his extensive knowledge and personal connection to the Andes.
Ronaldo Ccolqque, CEO & Co-Founder
Ronaldo’s career in tourism shapes our company’s identity.
He began his career as a porter on the Inca Trail (2005–2012), gaining firsthand experience in the physical and logistical challenges of trekking in the Andes. He later worked as a group coordinator with well-known companies, building expertise in operations, customer service, and travel logistics.
With over 10 years of industry experience and a degree in Tourism, Ronaldo offers leadership, vision, and comprehensive knowledge of the travel sector.
In 2025, he became Co-Founder and CEO, guiding the company’s new phase with a focus on:
