Today marks the most anticipated day of your journey. After an early breakfast, your guide will meet you at your hotel and accompany you to take one of the early buses up to Machu Picchu. This region is known for its cold and dry conditions, so it’s important to dress warmly and be prepared for the hike. The trek itself covers approximately 4 kilometers and lasts for about 2.5 hours, leading us to the breathtaking summit of Rainbow Mountain, also known as Winikunqa. This natural wonder is perched at an astonishing altitude of 5,150 meters above sea level.
Once at the summit, you’ll have ample time to soak in the awe-inspiring beauty of this unique place and capture unforgettable photographs. The vibrant colors of Rainbow Mountain are a sight to behold.
