We begin our tour today with a pick-up from your hotel at 9:30 am. We will take you to a small market nearby, where the guide will explain the ingredients we will use to prepare some delicious meals. Then, we will go to our kitchen, where the chef will teach you about Peruvian cuisine and the preparation of tasty dishes. He will showcase one of the top Peruvian dishes, and if you like, you can assist him in preparing the meal. It's a fantastic opportunity to learn more about cooking. Afterward, you will enjoy the meal and some drinks.

Following our cooking class, we will continue our tour by visiting downtown Lima, where the Presidential Palace is located.

The city tour offers a fantastic way to explore the capital city of Peru and immerse yourself in its rich history and culture. Lima is a diverse and vibrant city, featuring a blend of modern and colonial influences. We will visit the Historic Center (Centro Histórico), designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For today, you will need a flight from Lima to Cusco, and we suggest booking one around 8 to 9 am.

According to your flight departure time, we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport, where you will enjoy your flight from Lima to Cusco.

Upon arrival at Cusco airport, our tour guide and driver will be waiting for you. We will welcome you to Cusco city, the land of the Incas. It's about a 20-minute drive from the airport to your hotel, and you will have some time for lunch.

At 1 pm, we will begin the Cusco city tour, which includes visiting various sites in the city and Inca sites located in the upper part of Cusco city. The Main Plaza of Cusco is usually where this tour starts, and it's an amazing place. Then, you will visit the famous Qoricancha (the center of the Inca Empire), where our civilization began. Our tour starts with a pick-up from your hotel at 8 am. Then, we will leave Cusco in our private transportation, heading to our first stop - an Alpaca farm, where you will have the chance to see all four types of them: llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and vicuñas. These animals were very important to our ancestors, and the guide will explain the differences among each of them.

Afterward, we will continue to Pisac, a place that was the capital of corn and potatoes. Depending on the season, we will see the farming area. Once we arrive at the Pisac Inca site, we will embark on a walking tour, exploring the famous circular Andean terraces, rooms, and water fountains. It's one of the largest Inca sites in the Sacred Valley. After you explore and witness the beauty of this incredible Inca site, we will drive back to Pisac town, where you will have the opportunity to visit the local market. This market is typical, and the local population still practices the exchange of products, making it a good place to buy some souvenirs.

Following that, we will continue driving for almost an hour until we reach Urubamba, where we will stop for lunch. After enjoying a delicious lunch, we will continue driving for another 30 minutes to Ollantaytambo, known as the last living Inca city. This beautiful place features a remarkable Inca archaeological site where you will have a guided tour. It takes approximately an hour to explore and understand the significance of this Inca site. Afterward, you will have time to walk and explore the local village, and then the guide will take you to your hotel.

There is an official checkpoint where you must show your original passport and can get a stamp if desired. You will prepare for the hike and begin the journey.

Chachabamba Inca site is located at the beginning of the hike, where you will have a guided tour. Then, you continue walking. The first section is a gradual uphill climb for about 3.5 hours. Along the way, there will be many stops to enjoy the view, take pictures, and have snacks. The scenery is breathtaking, passing through a cloud forest section that offers amazing flowers, mostly orchids, and hummingbirds.

Next, we will reach an incredible Inca site called Wiñayhuayna, often considered a small Machu Picchu by most travelers. You will have a guided tour and time to explore this unique Inca site. Afterward, you will have lunch.

Following lunch, there is about 1 more hour of walking to the Sun Gate. Only Inca Trail hikers have the chance to reach Machu Picchu by walking through the Sun Gate. We usually arrive there around 2 pm, which is the perfect time to enjoy the afternoon views of the citadel and possibly witness the sunset. From the Sun Gate, there is 1 more hour of gradual downhill walking until you finally reach the Machu Picchu citadel. The trail takes you directly to the upper part of Machu Picchu, offering the best views. You will have ample time to enjoy the views and take pictures and videos.

Afterward, you will take a bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will spend the night. Once you arrive at your hotel, you can take a shower, and then you will have dinner at a restaurant.
