Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco city tour. Let's explore the city!
This tour is available in both the morning from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and in the afternoon from 1:00 pm to 5:30 pm – you can choose your preferred time. It's worth noting that most groups tend to opt for the afternoon slot, so if you prefer a less crowded experience at the Inca sites, the morning option might be ideal for you.
The tour begins with a convenient hotel pickup. You'll start your journey at the Main Plaza of Cusco, an incredible location where your guide will transport you back in time to the Inca era. Surrounding the plaza are remnants of ancient temples, and you'll gain insights into how life was during the Inca civilization.
From there, you'll embark on a delightful walk along a charming street connecting the Main Plaza to Qoricancha, the epicenter of Inca civilization. Here, you'll marvel at the finest examples of Inca architecture. Following a comprehensive guided tour, our transportation will take you to explore four Inca sites located in the northeast of Cusco city.
Our first stop is Sacsayhuaman, a truly unique Inca site, distinct from even Machu Picchu itself. It is the only Inca site built with enormous stones, and from its elevated position, you'll enjoy breathtaking views of Cusco city. Sacsayhuaman held immense political significance during the Inca era.
Continuing on our journey, we visit Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay, each with its own unique character and historical importance. These sites offer a fascinating glimpse into the Inca civilization.
After this enriching exploration, we'll return to Cusco, dropping you off at your hotel. This tour provides a captivating journey through history, offering a deeper understanding of the Inca heritage that continues to captivate travelers from around the world.

Day 2: Cusco – Alpaca Farm, Pisac – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes.
Today, our adventure continues with a hotel pickup at 8 am. We'll embark on a roughly 30-minute drive to an Alpaca farm, a delightful place where you'll have the incredible opportunity to get up close to llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and vicuñas. The farm also serves as a valuable educational center where our knowledgeable guide will immerse you in the world of textiles, a craft passed down from our ancestors and still thriving today.
Following our visit to the farm, we'll resume our journey, driving for about an hour to reach the Pisac Inca site. Here, you'll have the privilege to explore this magnificent Inca site, one of the largest in the Sacred Valley. Pisac was primarily used for agriculture, featuring extensive terraces where our ancestors cultivated various crops like potatoes, corn, quinoa, and more. Our guided tour will provide valuable insights into the agricultural practices of the Incas.
After this enlightening exploration, we'll return to Pisac town, offering you the opportunity to experience the vibrant local market. It's a chance to witness the hustle and bustle of daily life in the valley.
Our journey continues to Urubamba, where we'll make a stop for a delicious and well-deserved lunch. Following our meal, we'll drive just 30 more minutes to reach the Ollantaytambo Inca site, a captivating archaeological wonder that serves as a prelude to Machu Picchu. Here, you'll embark on a guided tour to learn about its historical significance.
At the end of our exploration, you'll board an evening train to Aguas Calientes, where you'll spend the night. This day offers a perfect blend of cultural immersion, historical discovery, and natural beauty in the heart of the Andes, providing you with a deeper understanding of Peru's rich heritage.

Day 3: Machu picchu and back to Cusco.
Today is the most anticipated day of your adventure. Following an early breakfast at your hotel, your guide will meet you and accompany you to the bus station, where you'll catch one of the first buses to ascend to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu. As you arrive at the Machu Picchu citadel, your guide will lead you to the uppermost vantage point, offering you unparalleled views of this ancient wonder.
Take a moment to soak in the breathtaking scenery before you embark on a comprehensive walking tour of the citadel. During this guided exploration, you'll visit the most remarkable parts of Machu Picchu, including its temples, intricate water channels, meandering paths, and more. Your guide will provide you with profound insights into the history and significance of this sacred city.
If you're interested in climbing Huayna Picchu mountain, please let us know during the booking process. The additional cost for this exhilarating ascent is $75 per person. After completing the Machu Picchu guided tour, you'll have the opportunity to undertake the Huayna Picchu climb, which takes approximately 2 hours, including the ascent and descent.
Following your exploration, you'll board a bus to return to Aguas Calientes, where you'll have time to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. Later, you'll catch a train back to the Sacred Valley, where our driver will be waiting to transport you back to Cusco, reaching your hotel at approximately 8 pm.
